When I first started following Taylor on Instagram, I knew we had a few things in common. What I wouldn’t learn until we talked was that we had a lot in common.
With every interview I do for my podcasts, I find that a lot of content creators have degrees in creative fields or journalism. Taylor and I have that in common. She worked in news. I worked in radio. The nature of the journalism industry, however, isn’t much different no matter how you slice it. That’s what I learned when talking with her.
Journalism and broadcast are a subjective cutthroat atmosphere that can take a toll on one’s mental health.
