You think you know, but you have no idea.
We’ve all seen the documentaries on Netflix like Sins Of Our Mother which paint LDS in a very… ermm.. interesting light. Jennette McCurdy shared bits of her experience in the church in her book I’m Glad My Mom Died too. Of course, Lori Vallow’s case is not universal within the LDS community. Neither is Jennette’s. In reality, the church appears to treat those who leave as separate cases – and they then “handle” accordingly.
Before chatting with McCall Taylor, I didn’t know that she was LDS at one time. All I knew was that I loved her sense of style and that we had radio careers in common.
We ended up chatting about all of the above in this episode. Take a listen!
