Rochester Woman Has Car Broken Into

It certainly wasn’t an overly happy 4th of July weekend for me.

I recall, overnight, on July 3rd, hearing a car alarm go off somewhere between 2-4am. I live in a large apartment complex, so it’s not unusual for car alarms to go off at random. Furthermore, the car involved isn’t always mine. This time, it was.

I rolled over and went back to sleep and went to work the next morning like nothing happened. This is my story.

This is how my car got broken into.

It’s still absolutely INSANE to me that this happened next door to a police station. It’s even crazier that a complex who holds a large amount of tenants wouldn’t have any form of surveillance at all. Unfortunately, this clown (or clowns?) will probably get away with what they did.

NW Rochester, I love you, but how sad. My greater concern is the state of our society which may have forced these vandals to go into survival mode and resort to this. That is something, I fear, won’t be addressed.

Be safe out there, and remember not to leave your valuables in your vehicle.
