I have to admit, I didn’t quite understand what the “fangirl to music industry pipeline” was when I first saw music journalist and music industry expert Baylee Avery mention it online. My head had images of some conspiracy similar to what we see in 2001’s Josie and the Pussycats (the soundtrack still slaps, don’t at me) – but I was wrong.
