Summer ’22 flew by, didn’t it!?
Now that we’ve approached Labor Day, I think it’s fine to call summer “over” and recap some looks I rocked this past season.
I have to say, I invested heavily in trousers because the fabric they consist of is so much lighter than denim, and that felt great in the heat! We also took a chance on some crop tops, while relying on a classic band tee and shorts vibe.

This Britney look was definitely in honor of her big year. The headscarf from Ardeos Studios topped it off nicely. You can find the Britney tank at Target.
I had a moment with dresses and sandals this summer. They’re so comfortable and add some style when you just don’t want to put a whole lot of thought into an outfit.
Perhaps the crowning summer outfit moment for me was the sleek professional look I attended Mayo Clinic’s RISE for Equity conference with.
You can’t deny a classic band tee and shorts look for summer either!
