A slightly warmer season that doesn’t boil you to the core with humidity? YES PLEASE. I don’t know about you, but I’m so ready for spring!
You know your girl got prepared for the season on this. Want to see what I think is sure to be trending? Take a look!
Let’s start with that freaking beanie. You know the one. The Carhart one we’re seeing EVERYONE wear on Instagram right now. It’s no wonder why we’re into it. It’s cute, comfy, very on 90s brand (which is still popular right now), and affordable.
I did my own version with an Urban Outfitters beanie (which is now even cheaper!) that looks similar, but you get the idea.
I see beanies and a continued 90s revival as continuing to dominate fashion this season.
You know what else I’m seeing a lot of in stores? A revival of my favorite (and only) pastel that I’m actually willing to wear: mint. I found the cutest example of this in Target in a very 90s-esque dress. Pair it with a denim jacket for some major Donna Martin vibes!
You can find this mint dress at Target here. While you’re there, don’t forget to snag this cozy mint colored sweater that’s lighter for the season too.
Celestial prints (think stars, suns, and moons) are also very “in” right now – and I couldn’t be happier about that. Stevie Nicks inspired this look for me anyway, but it was always hard for me to find clothing that wore it just right! Now, we’ve got plenty of options – like this blazer I snagged from Shein.
You don’t need to commit to a whole item of clothing if the celestial trend isn’t your thing. Dressing up your look with a fun accessory is a great option for the season too!
May I also present another classic trend that is making the rounds again? Welcome to denim.

Huge in the 90s, and paired well with some Chucks or Docs, this trend isn’t going anywhere this season. I started noticing it’s revival in the fall, and it doesn’t appear to be going anywhere.
Another spring trend that isn’t going anywhere because they really are just that groundbreaking (sorry Miranda Priestly!) – florals. Oh yes. Florals.
I know, this can be a “duh” moment for a lot of us, but I wanted to show that even if florals aren’t your “thing” or if pastels aren’t your “thing,” you can still wear either trend in a badass way.
I found floral combat boots which were great for me because I’m not one to commit to tops with flowers on them or things like that. It was a compromise. Here’s what I did…

Fishnets and ripped denim give these “girly” looking boots some street/rock cred. Try it out for yourself!
Lastly, I’d like to thank Karamo Brown for reviving this piece of joy in my life. Ladies and gentleman, the bomber jacket:

Don’t sleep on this. I found one with a skull on it, because rock n’ roll! I found mine at ModCloth. You can find a bomber jacket that speaks to you too!
Which spring looks are you excited for!?
