Last month, I was asked to be part of the team that gets a sneak peek into Rochester’s version of the Jefferson Awards.
What’s a Jefferson award? Well, Fox 47 explains, “Every month, FOX 47 features someone in our community who is making a difference and we honor them with a Jefferson Award.” Take a closer look at the Jefferson Awards here.
What that means for me, is that I’m lucky enough to get the inside scoop on people who are doing amazing and selfless things in the Rochester area. We nominate someone for an award each month.
This year, we’re sending Teddy Collins to Washington for his amazing work! Next year, we’ll send someone else.
