You’re going to read this and ask, “is this real?” I sure as hell did.

I don’t actually know if it’s real or not, but it’s a good read either way. 

Toronto based band Witchrot is getting all of the shares and social media attention today because of a breakup announcement they wrote on Facebook. Check out the post below. 

I have so many questions about this!! Namely: Is this for real? Why didn’t Peter and his girlfriend get married if it’s been seven years? How did the drummer die? This is modern day Spinal Tap scene people!

You’ll notice some commenters on the post calling this situation a “modern-day Fleetwood Mac” and some assuming it’s clickbait and breaking out the popcorn. 

This, my friends, is how to properly announce that your band is breaking up.
